About the Candidate

For nearly 20 years, I have worked as a mechanical engineer designing, improving and maintaining large-scale water and electric utility systems that communities depend on every day. My experience spans the entire system — from monitoring mountain snowpack and water resources to power generation and the infrastructure that delivers reliable service to homes and businesses.

As a consulting engineer, I partner with California utilities to develop resilient, reliable, and renewable energy infrastructure. I have gained a practical understanding of how planning, responsible investment, and efficient operations keep services affordable and dependable.

I am running for the TDPUD Board because I believe our community deserves thoughtful, experienced leadership. I am committed to ensuring TDPUD continues to provide reliable, affordable, and sustainable water and power through sound infrastructure investments, responsible financial stewardship, and long-term planning.

While engineering is my profession, water has always been my interest. Whether skiing with my wife and our two boys, riding local trails, or exploring our watersheds, I am constantly reminded that our community's quality of life depends on protecting and responsibly managing our natural resources. I'm invested not only in the systems that serve Truckee today, but in ensuring they remain strong for generations to come.
